Very very slow load times
I have installed Paintshop Pro X9 (because of slow load times in X8) and imported the X8 database. I still get very slow times in X9 (over three minutes before the program is ready to use). The program is installed on a new i7 computer with 8 GB of RAM.

Have a look at this recent thread which also referred to very slow load times. Although it is about X6, the same controls are in both X8 and X9. Excluding certain folders from the cataloguing process might help in your case too.
