Hi

Running Windows 10 64 bit and PSP 9 64 bit and 32 bit, have tried the program with and without latest patch.
Sometimes it crashes just selecting F.R.
Other times I have to select an option, but always crashes.

Then I tried BMP images, normally use Jpeg.
The program did not crash, I could rotate in any direction.
Worked perfectly till I tried a second BMP, now it crashes every time, seems to have a mind of its own.

By the way I am running PSP X9 only, so no conflicts with earlier versions.

It does not auto create the crash file,(DMP) but can manually create one via Task Manager, but quite large at 700MB+

My wife has a laptop running Windows 7 64 bit so will install there to see what happens.

Post updated:-

Installed program on windows 7 64 bit, crash on first attempt to use Free Rotate.

I found a litle help-solution to be able to free rotate images or tubes .
The only thing you have to do is clicking on the 90 just up to the free rotate .. Then back again to the free rotate possibility ( Then you have the free rotate value highlited )
Don't click in it .... You can change this value even delete the old one with your delete button and type the desired value .... Or even change the old value with your mousewheel ...
Ony one condition ... dont stay or move with your mousepointer over this highlited value ...
This system worked fine for me and our members ....
But ........in the mean time whe are all still waiting a patch or update from Corel to solve this bug .....

I made a litle YouTube movie for our members ... ( Sound was not working fine in my record) But, no problem ! This would be in Flemish ...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hJYcgqwV84

Maby this simple trick can help others .....

I think the problem is not this free rotate possibility himself .....But the problem( crash) shows up by clicking or even pointing this free value area ....

Hi Midnight / Dypsis

Corel have informed us that a fix will be included in the next service pack.
I have checked my program for updates and browsed the Corel site but cannot find the update you refer to.

Can you provide a link to download that service patch --- thanks

Rather than a link that downloads the update, can you provide the link to the page so that we can view the page that provides the update link?

Thanks. When I went to that page this morning the second patch wasn't shown. But that could have been an old page from my browser cache.

Hated this bug, but I found a work-around.

The bug seems to occur (at least for me) when the mouse interacts (either mouse-over) or click with the
"Degrees" area of the Free Rotate part of the Image Rotate dialog box.

This can be avoided by using Tabs to get to the Degrees and then setting the Free Rotate Degrees with the keyboard only.

It's ugly, but it seems to be a reliable work-around.
