PSPX9 Fails to install.
Just downloaded PSPX9; however, experienced a power outage during installation. Now, when attempting to install, receive error message that system installation was not complete, run setup again. Receive same error message when reattempting setup. System seems to halt when trying to initialize the Initialization Wizard. Anyone have an ideas how I can get rid of this error message and proceed with the installation?

Re: PSPX9 Fails to install.
A system restore to a time/date just before the power outage should take care of it

I agree with LouRibissi. Before installing any new software you should make a restore point. If anything goes wrong you can always go back.
If you don't have a restore point, give your PC a clean and registry clean too. PSP is obviously reading there are certain files belonging to the installation. These must be removed.
Try CCleaner.

Re: PSPX9 Fails to install.
A battery backup UPS for your computer is a good idea. I have one just for situations like this if the power goes out.
