PSP X9 10.0.1.8 x64 crashes when copy-pasting vector text block.

Worst "upgrade" ever?

Kernel bug is still here too, even though you state that you've debugged two text issues.

Also, WARNING: All settings are lost, although this patch is very minor. There is no option to keep settings. And no warning. EDIT: UPDATE: SOLUTION: Go to File | Workspace | Load. You'll still find your workspaces there.

Same issue here, hope that gets taken care of asap as it's very annoying.

"Good" to hear. Very first thing I try, and the program crashes. In 2016. On Windows 10. Text and PSP never was good, but it sure is getting worse. I'm usually more polite, but what the crack is happening over at development department?

I am not getting any crashing with copy and paste vector blocks PSP X9 10.0.1.8 x64 on windows 10.

Just to be sure this is what I did:

1. load an image
2. Choose Text tool and Click on canvas. Make sure color text type and size is chosen.
3. Type in some lines of text.
4. Click Apply
5. In PSP X7 I just have to click inside the text while in PSP X9 I have to double click.
6. Control A to select all text. Right click > Copy
7. Click on Cancel changes (left of Font box)
8. Left click elsewhere and then Right Click > Paste
9. Click Apply

Repeat 5 to 8 to keep pasting blocks of text.

No crashes with this process or am I missing something?
Perhaps more details on the steps you take to get the crashes.

We're talking about copying whole blocks. Paste as vector. ctrl + G.

OK I get it now.

1. Type in some text 3-4 lines
2. Click Apply
3. Edit > Copy
4. Edit > Paste as New Vector Selection

Have I missed something ? - where is that version number coming from ? - surely all versions of X9 start 19.#.#.#

and service pack 2 addressed a number of text crashes - why not try applying that - version number becomes 19.0.2.4
