As shown in the attached image, X9 doesn't produce thumbnails like X7 for all video files on the video track. The lack of a thumbnail is very annoying when the VSP includes more than one video clip.
Lately I've had to use X7 instead of X9 because X9 could not successfully convert a X7 VSP. Overall X7 seems more capable of handling complex editing than X9.

Ummm... In Preferences > General have you chosen Thumbnail Only?

No in X9 it's set to "Thumbnail and file name" (see following image) which must be the default as I've not changed it. In X7, it's set to "Thumbnail and file name" as well, i.e. X9 and X7 have the same preference for "Clip display mode"Ken Berry wrote:Ummm... In Preferences > General have you chosen Thumbnail Only?
