As shown in the attached image, X9 doesn't produce thumbnails like X7 for all video files on the video track. The lack of a thumbnail is very annoying when the VSP includes more than one video clip.
Lately I've had to use X7 instead of X9 because X9 could not successfully convert a X7 VSP. Overall X7 seems more capable of handling complex editing than X9.

Ummm... In Preferences > General have you chosen Thumbnail Only?

No in X9 it's set to "Thumbnail and file name" (see following image) which must be the default as I've not changed it. In X7, it's set to "Thumbnail and file name" as well, i.e. X9 and X7 have the same preference for "Clip display mode" The following image shows the problem - X9 does not generate a thumbnail for the MP4 files which makes editing too difficult. However X7 does generate a thumbnail which makes editing possible. Thankfully I did not uninstall X7 after I installed X9 otherwise I would be unable to edit this project.Ken Berry wrote:Ummm...
