Updated VS9

Post by Pete Waterman »

HI People
Ive just done a stupid thing without realising!
I tried to open VS9 pro ultimate, and was confronted by a splash screen telling me of a update to VS9.5 for pro users (i think it said) anyway I hit the update button all was updated PC restarted, then I saw what had happened?
the update installed a load of Sample music, Triple Scoop Music and Muserk Sound Effects! I don't want to buy this lot and therefore I would like to know how to get rid of the said Samples!
i cannot find any File on my HDD? does anyone know where these have been placed too?
Thanks
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Hi Pete

The files are on a server on the internet, so not on your pc, an internet connection is required to view the files.
If you play one of the clips then a file will be saved to your hard drive.

On the good side.... We can hide the library folder/s
Right click the folder name for options.

Don't get too hasty. You can at least bury the stuff and never see it again and VS is a pretty decent program.
I'm with you, what right do Corel have to use the program to sell through the back door? Perhaps the powers that be were given a decent "bung" to include this rubbish in the program. I use a lot of royalty free music in my videos but I object to being forced into a purchase I may only use once.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.
