Re: Videostudio x9 ultimate and HD files
Hi Ketil
Some things that you can try….
Using another media player does the original video play ok on your pc.
Now can you provide the properties of your video file, with a clip on the timeline, right click and chose properties, what are they?
You could take a snapshot of that window to create a Jpeg image and attach to your post.
Go to Settings – Smart Proxy Manager – enable.
Start a new project and add one of your clips, Smart proxy files will be created, may take a while?
We cannot set project properties to use Mov, MP4 being the next best thing.
Go to Settings Project Properties and set your properties to use the format for “Online”
Edit the template to use similar settings as your video files properties. The frame rate being particularly important.
With your clip on the timeline, go to Share – there is an option for Same as Project Settings, are you able to change that for Same as first clip.
If yes then render the project using those settings.
You can also Copy and Paste the properties to this post, as first sentence.
Play that clip to check quality, If VS cannot play smoothly use another media player.
