ASP 3 does not display histogram for Canon 6D CR2 files

I just installed ASP 3. I also use Canon 6D. For some reason ASP is not displaying the histograms for CR2 files in general. Often the software displays the message "Problem getting version histogram...". Is this a bug or is there a work around for it.
