What version of Studio 9?

I was trying to find out what version of Studio 9 I had, but can't seem to find a "help" file that lists it.

I must be blind.

I downloaded a Studio patch 9_4_3 but was not sure if I should use it or not.

I think you are very confused. You seem to have confused Pinnacle Studio 9 and Ulead Videostudio 9. The patch you have won't work with UVS.

Your quite right. I downloaded that patch over a week ago thinking a friend was going to send me his copy of Pinnacle to try out. Since then found out ULead supports the newer VC3 audio on my Sony 403 camera. I bought ULead the other day and was thinking that was a patch I had downloaded for it. What a goof.

Still...

Is there a way to find out what version I have? Does ULead have updates/patches? I see some that cost $, but I was thinking they might have some version updates I could use.

The about box displays the version, I believe.

The only patches that exist for UVS 9 so far are a few that add support for capture devices made by some of Ulead's OEM partners (those who bundle the program with their hardware). Any actual program patches will be delivered using the Smart Download feature that was added in UVS 9.

Thank you sir. All that I see on the box that might be a version says
UVS V9 (E) RET NA
No idea if that is it or not, but the reason I asked, you dealt with when you mentioned the smart download update in version 9. Looks like it will take care of that question when the time comes.

Hey daddog! So you made it over here ok! There are no applicable patches/updates for VS9 yet. You may see some on the Ulead website but they are for specific capture devices and do not apply to your 403 system.

OOOOpppp! Just read Thoff's post, there IS a patch!
