Upgrading to VideoStudio X9 Ultimate
I currently use VideoStudio X8 Ultimate. I used X7 Ultimate before that. I went to Corel's web site last night to check the upgrade price to X9 Ultimate. It was 47.99! I thought that was a great deal, but I had to wait until this morning, for my pay check to be deposited. (My finances are limited.) I went back to the site to make the purchase, and the price had gone up 20.00. It is now 67.99! I wish I understood why companies do that. I tried emailing Corel with my complaint, but it came back unanswered. I am sorry if we're not supposed to post things like this but I'm just frustrated. Shame on Corel!

So what prices are we talking - US Dollars ? - Australian Dollars ? - GB pounds ?

It was for the upgrade to MovieStudio X9 Ultimate. Last night they listed the upgrade price as $47.99 US dollars. This morning it had gone up to $67.99 US Dollars. I'll just have to wait and see if it goes down again. (The full price had also gone up.) I guess I'm just mad because I missed it by a day!

Corel should be offering a deal via the CVSX8 and 7 programs.
Go to Help Messages to see if there are details to upgrade to X9
The 40% discount although mentions the Pro version does seem to give the ultimate.
When I closed CVSX8 I received one of those pop-ups, the annoying ones we ignore, maybe worth a read?
