Hi
Why has my VSP x9 Ultimate fail to start up?? Times out with the message "Load from stream error". The bugs in this software are so numerous.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled.
No success.

Re: Load from stream error
Hi Phil
Load from Stream error is usually associated with a corrupt library.
Video Studio uses a method of linking clips, so when we add files to the library a link is created, the files remain on the hard drive, they do not move.
Those files have to remain in the original location, unaltered, otherwise the library cannot find them.
If we move them, or rename them then a re-link will be shown, Excessive broken links could corrupt the library. I say could as we do not know the actual reasons for the error, just that it is a corrupt library, unfortunately that can be the way we manage our files.
When I worked for a living any problems with the groups work was classed as a “working party fault”
When you uninstalled Video Studio did you choose to remove all personal data?
Try resetting the program.
Go to:-

Obviously use 19.0 folder
