Not a chance
but hiring one or two of the original developers wouldn't be a bad idea.

I gave up on Bibble after the Bibble 5 desaster. Yesterday I got After Shot 3 as part of PSP X9 Ulitimate, installed it and was appalled at what I saw. Being used to the conversion quality of DxO, C1 and even RawTherapee for years now, After Shot simply cannot compete and even being blazing fast doesn't make up for lack of quality.Kneops wrote:Not a chancebut hiring one or two of the original developers wouldn't be a bad idea.
If you think that the people that f**ed up Bibble 4 could help After Shot, more power to you.

I have never used Bibble, so I have to admit I can't judge if hiring some people would be a good idea.
My experience with the quality of ASP is very mixed. I some cases (Fuji RAF files), the results I get are the same or even much better than the original jpegs from the camera. Other images make me crazy and I can't get a good result no matter what I do. So I keep taking pictures both in jpeg and raw. I use Darktable and Photivi as backup software.
