Can you run 32bit VS pro X7 on Win 10

Has anyone tried this? Corel support wasn't sure it would run as X7 was designed for Win 7??
Thinking of going back... Missing my new blue transitions more than any minor updates that Vspro X9 has to offer. Really very little difference...

Would keep X9 and X7 on same machine of it worked. Obviously wouldnt /couldnt open at same time.

I have Videostudio X4, X6, X7 , X8 , X9 all running on 32bit Windows 10 and I am not aware of any problems with any of them

When you first download the installer for X9 it will check your system and download the correct programme - but if you check the updates page for X9 here - - http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/suppor ... sion-tab=0
you will see updates are for 32 and 64 bit programmes

for updates yes - but unless you downloaded the 32bit programme originally you may not have a 32bit programme to start with

Gotcha. My link doesnt indicate so maybe there was a choice when u downloaded. I got a new comouter and the guy i bought it from had set some things up for me including Video Studio.
Maybe im better off keeping x64 ver of 9 and install V7 in 32 bit and use both? Argh. Corel does not make it easy!
Think im gonna buy a monthly to adobe premiere and see how i like it... Lol.

Don't blame Corel, your issue is with New Blue, when you open the VSX9 installer, you are given the option to download 32 bit or 64 bit, many of us download both versions.
if you try the Premiere Pro monthly subscription method, you will have a massive learning curve, I have CS5.5 and eventually uninstalled it, just too difficult to navigate around, I do have Premiere Elements installed which I do use, but it is not available on a subscription basis

So i can have both 32 bit abs 64 bit of same version installled?? Obviously can't open at same time...

You can have the 32 bit version of VSX7 and the 64 bit version of VSX9 installed at the same time, you cannot have both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of VSX9 installed
