Syncing audio waveform with titles

I'm making a lyrics video. If I could see the waveform right below the text in the timeline, that would make it a lot easier to match text to sound. But when I turn on sound mixer, the title tracks disappear. How do I do this?

push the text block in the timeline up into one of the overlay tracks before selecting the sound mixer
