I bought a new Windows 10 Computer. HP - AMD A10-8750 Radeon R7, 3.6 GHz. 16GB Ram, 1TB hard drive.
I installed VS X9 Ultimate and installed the X9.5 patch to make the version 19.5.0.35 on the new machine. Then copied my projects from the old machine. When I tried to open projects I had created 2 weeks ago on my other computer with VS 19.5.0.35 I receive the error message: "File is already in use."
What am I missing?
Also, with the other machine I had downloaded lots of free content from Corel and Studio Backlot. Are there files from the old machine I can move to the new one so I don't have to download it all again, not to mention having to re-import all the pictures and projects I was working on before the move?
Help would be greatly appreciated, as I had been working on one project for several weeks and it will not open on the new machine. The only reason I purchased this machine was to be able to run VS and take less than 40 minutes to render 8 minutes worth of video.
Thanks for you help.

BEWARE Windows 10 "File History" backup
I finally figured out what happened. When I set up Windows 10 to do a "File History" backup of my system, it took upon itself to rename all the files copied over with their own date/time stamp added to the original file name. Even by removing the extra info from the file name did not allow the VSP file to be recognized. Therefore I had to go back to the old machine and retrieve the VSP files. Thinking I had beaten the Microsoft machine....ah guess again Grasshopper....it also added the date/time stamp to all of the pictures copied over. WHAT? Therefore, the VSP did not recognize the pictures. Lesson learned, never depend on someone else to do what you should do yourself...copy the files from one machine to another. Not to worry, I do have a backup program that I normally use but thought that maybe Microsoft would have a built-in way....NOT.
That being said...my question at the end still stands: I had downloaded lots of free content from Corel and Studio Backlot. Are there files from the old machine I can move to the new one so I don't have to download it all again, not to mention having to re-import all the pictures and projects I was working on before the move?
Thanks for your help, again.

Hi
I am unsure where samples from Studio Backlot saves the files.
You may be best in downloading one to locate the default save location, then view on old pc?
Corel Guide Do-More downloads and Service Packs are saved here:-
C:\ProgramData\Corel\Downloads
They are saved to many folders with strange names that does not identify their content, that could prove difficult to id. Most if not all of the download files are .EXE and will require installing.
You may be quicker downloading again.
The Do More Free Sample aka Bonus Samples are installed to :-
C:\Users\Trevor\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\Bonus Content
Disc Menu templates here:-
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X9\Content\Menu Template
Instant Projects are installed here
C:\Users\Trevor\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSPTemplate
Good luck
