Please check for a bug in NB filter.

1) place a clip on track1
2) Split it anywhere in the middle.
3) To the left apply NB Air Brush FX (from NB sampler). reset it to non, hence 0 on all parameters (no keframes)
4) No FX on the right clip
5) Scroll over the joint cut.
and report.
** Update, Quick Pixelator from NB VII - same bug

No problem with 64 bit, behaves exactly as it should, filter on left, nothing on right, moving scrubber across joint cut, no issue

Its my dinner time so just a few minutes left….

Don’t understand the (no keyframes), all keyframes are showing with None applied.

Timeline shows Fx as it should, all seems to be working ok

Maybe a screen shot video would help?

I don't no what is not clear. no keyframes means that the FX should not use kefreames.
This is what I have when I match the cut with a wipe.

Dinner went well…

Your images show a transition applied to the cut, you don’t mention that in your first post.

Even so I do not have a problem in applying the FX and Transition, both show when I scrub across the clips. Although FX has no effect as it is set to None.
Wipe Barn Door appears to be what you have used?

I cannot see a problem there….

I want first to apoligize for my answer, because, FOR ME, you are very important to this forum.

If you don't get a quick answer to your problem, it might be in the fact that many people can view your post, but UNFORTUNATELY, VideoStudio users have « ALL » different versions / FX filters, etc.. You mentioned in your post « 3) To the left apply NB Air Brush FX (from NB sampler) ». What is NB Air Brush FX ? This EXCELLENT forum uses the English language. Users, like myself, might have a different language for it. In German / Spanish / French what is the name of your filter ?

I've tried to find what is « NB Air Brush FX » and don't seem to find anything that could match that name.

Personally, I would be most happy to help you. Unfortunately for you, I'm a francophone from Québec, Canada and my software is in French.

JaRo -- I am not sure which translation of Air Brush Corel uses, but to me it is "aérographe"...

In the English version, it is in the NewBlue (NB) Sampler Effects filters -- see attached image.

I guess that Ken was right with the NB Filter name.

I followed your instructions and you'll see on second image that even when the filter is reset to none, there's still some effect appearing on the left side part of the image.

Results are more obvious on those two new pictures. Filter applied and resetted to none on the original clip. That clip was copied and filter removed.

I think I understand what you are referring to, takes a while at my age.

Yes I see some effect when applying the Air Brush and setting the filter to “None”
Looks like “soft focus” rather than a colour change.

I guess the None option should be more accurate and represent the image without the filter applied.

Ultimate X8 on 64 bit.

I have one Pixelator that came with VideoStudio Under NewBlue Essentials Video Pack Effect. Absolutely no problem with that one.

Jaro that's different filter.

These bugs just show the sloppy work of NB.
I wish we had pixelan.

Did you write to NewBlue Support ?

In 2014, I've had a few problems with some FX and wrong versions of « Set-up.exe ». I mostly had support from Edward T and he resolved all of my problems with an extreme patience. I've kept his adresses :
