Hi all,I am new to Corel, downloaded PSP X8 trial. I went to the Corel site to watch the tutorials and learn. I also watched a tutorial on After Shot Pro and became confused. Both programs seem to do the same thing(s). I am not looking for deep technical information I just want some guidance on the why or why not to purchase one over the other other. I was reading on here that some people use both programs. Why?
Thank you in advance.

In a nut shell PSP offers basic RAW editing. While ASP is a far more comprehensive RAW developer. If you just want to do 'basic' RAW work then PSP should be fine. If you want to did deep into RAW development with things such as lens correction and camera profiles then use ASP.
