I installed the update last night and tried it out VS 9.5 X today with no problems. One improvement to my liking
was the speed of booting up was much faster than the previous versions.

I suspect he must have meant that Win 10 booted faster -- though I can't confirm that, even though I have already installed the Anniversary Update on two computers so far. Certainly VS x9 took the same long time to open, preceded as usual by the unstoppable Corel promotional pop-up!

Re: Windows 10 August Update (FYI)
VS X 9.5 did not load noticeably faster. I used booting to refer to start-up of the computer.
My Gigabyte P57 Laptop started much faster. Aside from security improvements, I see nothing
of value for me. The long list of Apps on the startup screen did not impress me. Pressing the App
icon was better I thought (less clutter.) The update kept my previous settings and Cortana was nowhere to be
found with the search bar still intact. For the booting improvement-it was worthwhile.
