I only see the "old" ones listed in the Program Files. Apart from English there is French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese and Chinese. Others may be able to find other languages but I suspect Czech won't be among them.

Are you sure about that? I thought so too when I first opened it, but on looking more closely it now seems to be Save As all over again...
I have loaded about 10 jpg images.
1. Used levels, hit the Save button - went to the Save As dialog box I changed from the default 20 to 5 and then saved that
2. Second image applied a Lightness Darkness adjustment - hit the save button and it saved without going to the Save As dialog. Then I had to close the image.
3. My favorite method also works - working in Untabbed documents
Third image applied a Hue Saturation Lightness adjustment , hit the Red X to close the image , had the pop up box that asks if you want to save changes with the default being Yes (highlighted) , hit the Enter key to accept that, Image is saved and closed.

On the bad news front the default OK is highlighted when using Levels, and Hue /Saturation/Lightness but hitting Enter to accept does not work. It does with Brightness/Contrast, and Red/green/Blue and Unsharp Mask. So will still have to use X2 when power processing a lot of images.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Hartpaul is correct, it's a mixture between fixed and not fixed. Definitely less annoying.

I just got the X9 upgrade. Once Corel figured out I wasn't in Czechoslovakia, the download went quite well. I haven't taken it out for a test drive, yet. That's for tomorrow. :D

Tech support is now trying to work on my problem.
The new PSPX9_PF that I am trying to load now is an up grade from PSP X8
The down load comes in as PSPX9_PF but it is a PSPX9.exe
However, in my computer, it will try to load and around 10% will crash and a window will come up saying that 1: setup msi: This installation cannot be run by directly launching the MSI package, You must run setup.exe
Well, even the other site they gave me with a download of PSPX9.exe came up with this same note.

Beware of trying to use those so called Windows fixit programs...all they want you to do is install the software...show you that you have a bunch of problems and try to get your money.... 99% of them will not fix this problem... don't get hooked.

Meanwhile, Corel staff is trying to fix this. I had the same problem with a past issue of PSP and they had to take over my computer to figure out how to get the program installed.
I have too much time invested so far to try to do a complete re load of Win 7 ultimate.
There should be a simple app fix to run to get this to work. Win installer is alive and well and is working. Just downloaded new copy of Chrome no problems, downloaded and installed update to Apache Open Office with no problem. So, the install problem is in the PSPX9 download.
Anyone else?

Success:

I kept at it and finally figured out how to install PSPX9_PF

After a lot of trials, in desperation, I tried downloading Windows Fix it tool
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... or-removed

Then do the link for download
http://aka.ms/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

The program will ask you the name of a program you are having trouble with..

Since I had copies of both PSPX7 and PSPX8 still in my system, I decided to just test use PSPX7
The program ran and said that it had corrected some corrupt install files.

I used the file that we put on the desk top and right clicked it and told it to admin install.
It took a long breathless wait…but the install meter finally went past 10% and kept on going.

I later installed all the other apps that needed installing.
So, now the machine has both PSPX9_PF for 32 and 64

Thanks for your efforts…

Hope this might help others

I purchased the new version of Paintshop Pro X9 and installed it. The 32-bit version works perfectly while the 64-bit versions boots up but stops working when the workspace appears. I uninstalled and reinstalled but the same problem occurs with the 64-bit version. I previously had Pro X8 and both versions worked perfectly. I have other 64-bit programs (Videostrudio 9 and Aftershot 3) that work fine. Any idea why?
