hi,
i have the Kai's Power Tools v7 Effects plugins installed on my win7 x64 computer.
i set the path in the preference of plugins folders of psp x8.
but pspx8 does not use the plugins.
is there a problem ? is there any log of error message i can consult to solve the problem?
can psp x8 64bits use 8bf plugins from Kai's Power Tools v7?

I believe that KPT filters are 32 bit, so will only work with the 32 bit version of PSP.

No, only 32-bit programs can use 32-bit plugins. The same is true for Photoshop.

Correct. The plug-in vendor would need to update their plug-ins to be compatible with 64-bit editors. As many of the older plug-ins are not maintained this will probably not happen.Michael REMY wrote: so psp x64 can't use 32bits plugins ?

Keep in mind that you can install 32-bit PSP on a 64-bit OS, even if you also have 64-bit PSP installed. You can even run both at the same time (but, of course, not on the same image at the same time.) That way you can use both 64-bit-only plugins/programs and 32-bit-only plugins/programs.
