since I'm a stop motion animator, I want to try and take advantage of the stop motion feature. I've tried it time and time again. But I don't really understand how to hook up a DSLR camera to my computer and have it recognized. my computer recognizes that the camera is connected, but not the stop motion software.
My camera is a Nikon D3000. I hear that this feature might only be compatible with Canon, but I'm not sure. I can import pictures from within the computer fine. Is my camera just not compatible with Live Capturing?

Re: troubleshooting the Stop Motion feature
There is nothing in the Corel specs which state that Canon is the only compatible camera, here is a link to the Corel Stop Motion user guide

Edit
Just noticed that the user guide refers to Nikon for further information
