ASP2--No Images Available

I just got ASP 2 (2.4.0.119) when I bought my new camera; I purposely chose the bundle that had it. I used it once and everything seemed fine. But the second time, when I selected thumbnails, they didn't appear in the preview display. Instead, I get a message saying, "No Image Available." It's been that way ever since.

I see from the discussion boards here that this is a common problem with ASP 3, and an occasional one in ASP 2.4.119 (especially after ranking photos?). Does anyone know a fix for this?

I asked customer support and they told me to turn off "Create Previews during Importing and File System Browsing." I tried that, but it didn't help.
