I'm about to order a new computer build which will need to run Videostudio X9 (or 9.5 if that is what they give me). The X9.5 system requirements say "Intel Core i7 or AMD Athlon X4 or higher for UHD or Multi-Camera editing". However that means quite a jump in price from the i5 processor that the builder is offering me. I just wonder, how definitive are these requirements? At the moment, using a much lower-rated processor and X7 I can just about (i.e. very slowly) edit UHD video. Has anyone tried UHD and Multi-Camera editing with X9 or 9.5 with an i5 processor?

HI, it's all in the nature of your work.
Do you overlay 73 minutes 4 UHD streams with FXs and titles? even i7 is not enough.
The poor guy solution is using proxies files and a lot of patience.
