An I5 processor or I7 6300

Aware higher number doesnt mean better..but given a choice would you plum for I7 ( pc cost around £800...havent a grand or two for the real beasts )..but wanting best a man can get for video editing.

Brian, I think he is talking about an i7 CPU vs. an i5CPU -- not VS 17/X7 vs X5/15... :oops: :oops:

Go with an i7 computer. My i7 4790K (16 GB) machine is very responsive, but if you go i5 get lots of Ram-32 gig for speed.
I also have a Skylake i7 6700HQ (32 GB) computer which is a fast machine.
