Need Microsoft KB update numbers for CVS X5 and X2

I need a complete list of Microsoft KB updates that stop older CVS programs such as CVS X5 and X2 from running. Due to HD crash I no longer have my list.
I would appreciate the KB numbers very much.

In Control Panel, Programs and Features, click View Installed Updates. Top left
- Remove KB3126587 and/or KB3126593
In addition KB3140410 may also be causing some issues reported for X6 and X5
- Do NOT reboot.

Now go to
Control Panel - Windows Updates
Run Check for Updates, it should find the two updates
View updates to install
Select update , right click
Hide updates KB3126587 and/or KB3126593 and KB3140410

That lists only 3 KB's. There have been about 8 or 9 KB's all together. I was hoping that someone may have a list of ALL of the related KB's.

I do not have a file "MUIHelper.dll" in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X5" directory. Is the path you gave me complete?
Also, exactly what does the MUIHelper.dll do? Can you explain to me?

Yes the address C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 is correct assuming you installed the program to the default location?

Do a search for MUIHelper.dll

the new file will allow X5 to run irrespective of Windows update.
and probably work for X2
You can then set Windows Updates to auto.

My Hats off to you! The DLL file you sent seems to correct the problem that the KB Update files make and cause CVS X5 to stop working.
After (first changing the name of the original MUIHelper.dll - for backup) I copied the MUIHelper.dll you sent to me into the directory.
Then I downloaded and installed the first 3 KB files (as shown in the above post). CVS X5 seems to work OK. At least it loaded OK.
I can't actually test CSV X5 with a project at the moment, but hopefully, I can do it in the near future.

I'm curious to learn where you got the new DLL file. It was my understanding that Corel was not going to give us a fix for the older versions of CVS.

Corel provided a Hotfix for X8 and x7 those fixes provided a new MUIHelper.exe, did not take to long before someone tried those files in earlier versions

It was another user on the forum reported being able to do that, cannot remember her name?

Thanks for sharing the information regarding Corel's fix for the newer CVS versions and that someone experimented with the subject DLL file for earlier CVS versions.
