Doesn't make sense!

Post by tom83769 »

Maybe someone can help me to understand. I upgraded to Windows 10 Professional, installed VS9 Pro and also latest service pack. Loaded, edited, and started to render video for about a 40 minute DVD and it would continually hang up and stop functioning at about the 4-8% level. I uninstalled and reloaded VS9 without the latest service pack to see if that made any difference - - got same results with the program stopping during rendering. I then installed old VS5 with the same video clips and it rendered and burned the DVD with no problems. Why would an older version work on Windows 10 and a newer version not?

When you say you have downloaded the latest service pack, do you mean this one http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/support/updates/ which was released yesterday. It makes the version shown in Help > About 19.5.0.35. Is that the number showing on your version?
