I copied from my Panny TM 900 recorder and processed the results in VS X9. When I went to "Share,' to process the file, a message came up. See attachment. I tried the same chip in my other two computers and there was no problem-no error message so, the chip is ruled out. I noticed the the BDMV folder was write-protected, but so was it in the two computers that worked. Why is VS seeing the files as write-protected? This never happened with VS before. I tried using the Panny USB, but it said write-protected. Yet, no problem on two other machines.

Hi

That error message shows if you try to save to a folder that does not exist. Could be USB memory that has been removed?

You may have saved to say BDMV folder then deleted that folder, trying to Share again will look for the same folder, that does not exist.
Choosing another Save location will fix the issue.

Its the wording of the error message that does not make sense
