Cannot select other printer profiles in X8?

Post by GMack »

Bug?

Under File > Color Management > Printer Profile: I cannot read anything more than 25 profiles in that drop-down window. I have a lot more than 25 Epson papers and profiles and other printers both, but I cannot select them due to the limitation of only 25 being shown there.

That "Printer profile" box doesn't scroll or anything like the "Emulated device profile" drop down does where I can see other printer profiles in there, but unsure if that is the way to select a "Printer Profile" which only shows 25 of them?

P.S. Still takes over and changes the hardware calibrated screen to some bluer version too when it launches. Like it turns off any secondary D50 color management for printing and uses the default (bluer) D75 web color space the computer came with.

The only answer I can contribute is recommending you find another program to print with. I gave up on PSP's broken Colour Management long ago. If you're 'serious' about colour and printing may I suggest you look at QImage. Has a zillion printing features and excellent Soft Proofing.

PSP is a 'good' editor. Not a 'great' editor. Now days I really believe in having many tools in my tool box. Not just relying on one program such as PSP. Simply allows you to pick and choose the best of everything!
