Writing Speed Adjustment - ProdDad Script Filter

Post by sgriffis »

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to adjust the script action in the ProDad Script filter? I want to slow down the writing speed. Currently the filter is writing my text much faster than I want. - (VS X9 Ultimate SP3)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Have you played around with the length of time you assign to the In-effect and Out-Effect? If you leave the little clocks at zero, everything appears/disappears very quickly. But increasing the time -- particularly of the in-effect clock in your case -- should give you what you want.

I did play around with that control but maybe I didn't play long enough :). Will work some more and see what I can find. Will let you know.

Thanks Ken!

The speed of effects in any animated FX is governed by the duration of the clip - if you want things to happen slower give them more time - extend the duration of the clip
