I'm using VS X9. I ran into this multicam issue:
I edited a video using 4 cameras
some of the cuts were 2-3 seconds
i placed fades between the cuts in the multi cam editor
the video played ok in multicam with the fades
when I completed the multicam process multicam placed all of the clips in track 1
when I played the project it would stop playing where I had a fade between 2 short clips. It appears that multicam will place fades between clips and can play them correctly. However, when you play the result in the editor the project will stop playing. If you remove the fade it will play correctly.
Is this a multicam bug?

Re: Multi camera edit issue
Hi, I think you be better by edit roughly in PIP mode and fine tune in the editor.
That way you can paste the CC attributes easily.
