How to replace a color on a downloaded image

Post by RachaelB »

I'm writing a history book that requires the use of maps that I've downloaded. One of the maps is not black and white - it's actual a purplish color. Is there a way that I can change the purple color to all white or at least a very light color without degrading the black lines and text on the map?

Without seeing the actual image it's hard to say what would work best. You could try converting the image to B & W or desaturating it.

If you need help with either of the above let us know and also state which version of PSP you are working with.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed
