I downloaded the exe file to install Creative Content [http://www.paintshoppro.com/en/support/ ... pspx8.html]
I executed the exe file by invoking it directly (double clicking) in the download directory.
The wizard installed properly. It began configuring my system Creative Content at a good pace; however, the progress bar halted at 60%. Disk activity continued. My performance meter indicated heavy use of cycles by the executable; however I had to eventually abort the process. FYI: the abort process required many minutes to complete, but nothing like the execution time.

Re: Creative Content download hangs up at 60% during configu
Update:
I did not find the problem source; however, I cleaned out the download directory, returned to the download site and then retried. This time the wizard installed the content without any problem. Also I did not see any indication it was trying to configure anything.
I do not know if this is because of the previous install attempt or in spite of it.
Regardless the SW is now installed. So Root Cause Analysis is the only thing left if anyone wants to speculate.
Thanks to all.
