VS X9 Ultimate crashing!

Hi All
Can anyone give me the solution for VS X9 ultimate crashing when I try to enter text?
I click on the T (text icon)
That brings up the "double click here to add title"
when I double click I get the text box (marching ants)
I cannot Ctrl C (I think it is to paste text) please correct me if I'm wrong?
If I click on the Marching ants the text box disappears.
If I type the text in and try to move it's position VS X9 crashes!

That's a bit strange - when I click the "Double click here to add a title" my 'ants' are not marching - just a stable dotted text box which grows as I type

"Ctrl+C" is for copying the text from another source - - - "Ctrl+V" pastes the text into the box

can you use any of the pre-made titles which are supplied with Videostudio - do they cause the programme to crash ?

have you installed Service Pack 3 for X9 - that seems to be causing a lot of users a lot of different problems - try removing SP3 (windows restore - or uninstall and reinstall without SP3)

Yes the ants are the lazy ones (cant be bothered to march) sorry!
I have installed sp3.
I've just tried the pre-made titles they seem OK.
I re-opened my project and its behaving fine now?
I don't understand why, but if it happens again I'll uninstall SP3 and try that!

Try running the "Troubleshoot Compatability" on it. As in, right click on the Corel VideoStudio icon. In the popup menu, click on Troubleshoot Compatability. After it runs the Detecting Issues, click on Try recommended settings, then click on Test the program. It will open VS. Work with it and see how it goes.

Go back to the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter, click Next. If it worked, click Yes, save these settings for this program. If not, select No, try again using different settings. It may just fix your problem.
