Not really a question...
I was trying ASP a couple of months ago, and had a problem with it crashing and a question on importing, so I signed up for this forum. Unfortunately (for Corel), it took forever to get the verification email to activate my account. In that time, my trial expired and I decided on to a competing product. Now, I received an email about the '0 post policy', so, just to keep my account active in case I ever use a Corel product in the future, I'm making a post. I wonder if in a few months I'll get an email about the '1 post policy'....

For this forum? Really? That's strange. I got an email right away. Perhaps the original went to your spam?LMychajluk wrote:it took forever to get the verification email to activate my account.

the forum account activation e-mail is sent automatically the moment you first click Register - unfortunately for some users it goes to their spam folder and is never seen - I then manually send reminders at 1 month and two months - these are sent from my PC and tend to go to peoples inboxes rather than the spam folder - so I would think it was one of the reminders that LMychajluk eventually acted on and the original system one is deep in the spam folder .
two months after activation we send zero post policy notices simply to ensure the user is going to use the forum to post to - all posts can still be read bynon-members so if a user doesn't want to post then they can still read every thing so do not lose any thing by not being a member
and at the moment we have no intention of having a 1 post policy - even though we must have a few hundred members who have only made 1 post
