Import from DVD

I have just installed Video studio 9 (CD Version) after using the trial version. I have some DVD's previously made in Pinnacle studio and I would like to import some of the data from them.

When I try this VS9 reads the DVD and it will play in the preview window, but the import button is grayed out. I have tried with bought DVD's to the same effect.

It was the same in the trial version ( which was fully uninstalled) of VS9 but I just assumed that was a quirk of the trial version

yes, put a checkmark in the little square next to the Title or Chapter you want to import

In addition, bought (commercial) DVDs cannot be imported if they are protected using CSS, the DVD Content Scrambling System. This is by design.

I feel a bit foolish, but I had only clicked on it turning it blue and presumed that selescted that file. Everything working fine now
