If so any training vids out there.
Thanks John S

Welcome to the forums!
You are more likely to get responses to your question in the Video Studio forum than the one you posted in. So I have moved your thread there. Hopefully you will get some answers -- though I confess I know nothing about 360 degree editing... I've never heard that Video Studio can do it, but then again I haven't heard that it can't either...!!!

I don't see anything special, it's the UT player that does the "VR"

So, I also kind of managed to edit 360 video (from Nikon Keymission 360) using Corel Videostudio X9 Ultimate. Exported as 3840x2160 in 24 fps, then ran Google Spatial Media Metadata Injector on the file to inject 360 metadata, then upload to Youtube worked:

Any "non spherical" item like text and logos will look wierd though, and there are no tools to compensate the projection in VideoStudio - as there seem to be in Pinnacle VideStudio 20 - also from Corel?!? Can someone explain thelogic having two different VideoStudios from Corel, i.e. Corel VideoStudio and Pinnacle VideoStudio? (right now I would have been much more happy with the Pinnacle than the Corel app due to 360 support in Pinnacle 20 Utlimate).

Erik L.

Re: 360 VR editing in Pro X9 Ult
In fact the Pinnacle product is called Pinnacle Studio, not Pinnacle VideoStudio. It was originally an independent program by a company called Pinnacle, which apart from software also produced capture software and other things. It was eventually taken over by the Avid company, but then Corel bought Avid a couple of years ago.Can someone explain the logic having two different VideoStudios from Corel, i.e. Corel VideoStudio and Pinnacle VideoStudio?
Similar story with VideoStudio. It was originally the product of a company called Ulead. Then about 11 years ago, this was taken over by another company whose name I now forget. And then Corel bought that company about 10 years ago.
But both products have continued since then along independent development paths, having different technical staff and separate user communities.
There is discussion among users as to whether Corel intends to amalgamate the two products at some time. However, that is pure speculation on our part. We simply don't know and Corel is not saying anything...
As for 360 editing, I would not be surprised if were included in some form in the next version of VideoStudio.
