Lumix 12--35

Post by mikmak »

Hi
Have installed ASP3 but now my Lumix 12-35 lens is no longer automatic recognized. I have tried to edit the database without any result. A picture taken with the lens produce an entry in the Lens correction UI that says 'Lumix 12-35/F2.8' - The database have the name of the lens as 'Lumix 12-35mm F/2.8, and the correct profile also appeares in the UI. When I change it manually to that it all works.

Where should I look to get this corrected. As said I have tried to edit the database and the .txt files without good result

Regards

Same problem with the 35-100 Lumix 2.8 :-(
Lens-db look like this:
</Lens>
<Lens raw="true" skip="false">
<Model>Lumix G Vario 12-35mm f/2.8</Model>
<Mount>micro43</Mount>
<Exif provider="Panasonic" id="LUMIX G VARIO 12-35/F2.8"/>
<Exif provider="Olympus" id="2 21 16"/>
<FocalLength max="35" min="12"/>
<Aperture>2.8</Aperture>
<CropMultiplier>2</CropMultiplier>
<Converter factor="1" detected="false"/>
<CorrectionCoefficients>
<RadialDistortion a="0.0213" b="-0.06889" c="0.00479" focal="12"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0.0145" b="-0.04822" c="-0.00119" focal="13"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0.01331" b="-0.04349" c="0.00287" focal="14"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0.01065" b="-0.03526" c="0.00691" focal="16"/>

<RadialDistortion a="0.00779" b="-0.02266" c="0.01134" focal="21"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0.00077" b="0.00069" c="-0.00142" focal="26"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0" b="0" c="0" focal="30"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0" b="0" c="0" focal="35"/>
</CorrectionCoefficients>

and:
</Lens>
<Lens raw="true" skip="false">
<Model>Lumix G Vario 35-100mm f/2.8</Model>
<Mount>micro43</Mount>
<Exif provider="Panasonic" id="LUMIX G VARIO 35-100/F2.8"/>
<Exif provider="Olympus" id="2 23 16"/>
<FocalLength max="100" min="35"/>
<Aperture>2.8</Aperture>
<CropMultiplier>2</CropMultiplier>
<Converter factor="1" detected="false"/>
<CorrectionCoefficients>
<RadialDistortion a="0" b="-0.02122" c="0" focal="35"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0" b="-0.01741" c="0" focal="42"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0" b="-0.01282" c="0" focal="50"/>

<RadialDistortion a="0" b="-0.00599" c="0" focal="80"/>
<RadialDistortion a="0" b="-0.00245" c="0" focal="100"/>
</CorrectionCoefficients>

profile_olympuslenstable:
2 21 16|Lumix G Vario 12-35mm f/2.8
2 23 16|Lumix G Vario 35-100mm f/2.8

profile_panasoniclenstable:
LUMIX G VARIO 12-35/F2.8|Lumix G Vario 12-35mm f/2.8
LUMIX G VARIO 35-100/F2.8|Lumix G Vario 35-100mm f/2.8

I can see the lens-db is present in 2 different places in the program library - so I have changed both - but still not working..

Are the lenses correctly identified from their EXIF data? If you look at the Metadata tab, and select "Other" as the metadata, you can see how much ASP found out about the lens from using the database.
