Until recently I used PSP X6 with the printer connect via USB. I had no difficulty with this setup.
I have recently upgraded to PSP X8, but at the same time have moved the printer/scanner to WiFi (it is now in another room).
My printer/scanner is an EPSON XP-700 Series and I can print from PSP to the printer without any problem, however it doesn't recognise the Twain Source
I selected File > Import > Twain Source > WIA-EPSON37955b(XP-700 Series) and I get this message
If I follow that instruction I get this message
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance
Can't find WiFi twain source

Re: Can't find WiFi twain source
If you are using the 64 bit version of PSP, then AFAIK TWAIN will not work with 64 bit unless you have one of the very few scanners which has a TWAIN 64 bit driver. Most don't. I have both a big Canon scanner and an even bigger and more recent Brother scanner/printer, and neither have 64 bit TWAIN.
However, I still have no trouble scanning with them, but using File > Import From Scanner/Camera.

Re: Can't find WiFi twain source
I only have a 32 bit machine and in theory, it should have upgraded to that
How do I tell which version of PSP I have?

Click on Help>About. The version number will be shown on the dialogue that opens.Fieldmouse48 wrote:I only have a 32 bit machine and in theory, it should have upgraded to that
