If I try to open *.avi, was compressed with Lagarith codec, program was crashed.
This occurs only if the file contain the alpha channel.
I try to open file in X9 and X8 version. It is same problem.

I have not heard of Lagarith for a number of years. But it is certainly not a common one, and does not come natively installed on any computer. So my question is whether you have added it to your computer? Even with it, I am not sure that Video Studio would play your video, but at least it would be a starting point to install the codec.
EDIT: A Google search tells me the codec has not been updated since 2011. But you can find it at https://lags.leetcode.net/codec.html --- though I hasten to add I have not tried to download and install it myself.

I have this codec in the system.
I need it only in the work process to compress avi files with transparency. (Finally I compress video in mp4 with H.264) If you can suggest another codec I agree to use it.
