Ask for help: VideoStudio pro X5

Hi,

first please excuse my shaky English. – thanks.

I'm an old man (68) located in Germany and I'm in an emergency situation.
I have to install VideoStudio pro X5 on my new PC. (Win 7, 64 bit)
I'm the owner of VideoStudio pro X5 with the licence code from Corel.
VideoStudio pro X5 was running perfectly on my old PC. (also Win 7, 64 bit)

Regrettably the install exe in my backup is down!
I've been in contact (ticket) with the corel support and the answer was: No chance to get it - it's never stock!

So my question and my heartfelt request is:
Has anybody the install exe of VideoStudio pro X5?
The trial version is enough / sufficient.

I would be very happy if somebody will offer this file to download.

I am not sure what you are actually looking for - I have an X5 disk with an install.exe file buried deep in the heart of all the other files etc.

it is attached here as a zip file - download and unzip and see if it is what you need

wow, what a fast answer – Thanks!
After I've been looking for weeks X5, I was totally amazed that you have offered me an immediate solution.
It is wonderful that you have found in the antiquated data the x5
(Yes, we oldies throw not anything away!)

Thanks also for the zip file with the install.exe.
Of course I have the file immediately tested, but unfortunately it will not run.

I have no idea, what I could do more.
Now I have an outrageous request to you:

Will you please be so kind and burn a copy from your disk?
If yes, I will pay it immediately with PayPal.
Clearly, I need your payPal data for that.

An alternative route would be that you put the disk files in a cloud to download.

First - there is nothing at all wrong with your English - better than many English people can do

second - you can't play the age card here - I had already been at school a few years before the year you were born

third - I did not know the football score until you told me - don't watch much football - the ball is the wrong shape.

I do not think I can legally sell you a copy of my disc - that could land me in trouble - the ;purchase' price only in fact gets you a licence to use the programme

but as I said before I am a little confused about what you are doing - I don't ever remember having to run an install.exe file on any previous version - normally you would run a "autorun.exe" or frequently a "setup.exe" file - what files do you actually have for your version of X5 - do you have a disc - or a downloaded package - again up to the latest version the download itself would run to install the programme
