Memory limitations?

I get a lot of "Not Enough Memory" errors, primarily because I'm working with huge files 6000 x 3000 x 2400 dpi. I have 32 GB of RAM, but when I go to System under HELP, it only shows 1 GB of RAM and sees my i7 as a Pentium.

I'm looking at the Radeon 480 video card with 8 GB of RAM. Would that help?

Yes, a number of us have had this problem in the past. I have no idea why it says there's not enough memory. The only thing I ever did was to close PI reboot the system and try again. It usually resolved the problem for me. I hope it does for you too.
