Parameter is out of Range error

Post by wm59 »

Hi I am running Windows 7 with Psp x7. I tried to use the curves command and I keep getting a error message : A parameter is out of range. I tried resetting the work space within PSP and it didn't work. So I next tried Shift clicking on the curves icon and it didn't help at all. I even try reloading the work space after resetting and still have the same problem. It was working about a month ago. Any suggestions.

You mentioned that you have reset the workspace but did you try to reset the Curves Tool itself? It's worth a shot.

I can't even get the curves box to come up to reset it. I just get a message box with a red X "A Parameter is Out of Range"

In that case as a last resort I would uninstall using the clean-up tool found here http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52337 and re-install.

This error was last reported here over five years ago so not common. But in that case resetting the program fixed it. Hold the Shift key down when you click on the PSP icon to open the program. You'll be asked if you want to reset it. Say yes. Make sure you have saved any customised workspace before doing all this. But at least it might avoid a full reinstallation.
