DVD burning process failed

Post by lucbran »

Hi,
I am getting crazy, trying to burn a DVD from UVS7 project.
I follow the procedure, and program start convertinbg videos, audio but after a while starting burning the DVD, it stops.
Reason is: DVD failed power calibration.
Any idea what is wrong?
I tried also saving file and burn with another program (NERO) but still same prob...
What is wrong?

from what i can find out "Power Calibration Error basically means the drive lazer can not focus on the DVD media. Usually this is from bad or cheap media. We recommend trying different brands of CD & DVD media to find out which one works best for you"[/quote]

Thanks for your reply!
Well I am using TDK DVD, so it should be ok...
Could it be -R +R type involved?

If you are CONVERTING VIDEOS during the SHARE/Create Disk phase, you probably have not set the BURN properties (tiny gear shaped icon) to match your Project Video File properties.
