After shot won't start after full disk

Post by bunya »

Hi All,

I'm using Aftershot on Ubuntu.
I was using AfterShotPro 2, when accidentally filled my disk completely. (Was doing a recovery from a broken 32 GB SD card with photorec.)
I closed the software, made some space on the drive. Since that I can't start Aftershot again. I tried reinstalling the software and deleted the whole config folder:

Code: Select all

/home/bunya/.config/Corel
If I start the software from terminal I see this:

Code: Select all

bunya@fostaliga:~$ AfterShot2X64
Install Path: /opt/AfterShot2(64-bit)
LD_PATH: /opt/AfterShot2(64-bit)/lib:
XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS: 1
I have SSE2
And hangs here, nothing else.
How can I make it run again?

thanks and br,
bunya

oh the things linux does when one fills up a disk.. :(

could you resolve the issue in the meantime? if not..
start with cleaning out the old cache in ~/.AfterShotPro2/cache/
next try a full uninstall - and maybe manual deletion of files in /opt/AfterShotPro2/
and then reinstall. after that i wouldnt have a clear idea how to proceed.
Bibble since 2004. Aftershot until 2020. From then on darktable.
