Just finished installing VSX9 with SP3.
Opened existing project, loaded OK and everything seems normal.
However, when I go to "Share" I get the message BurnStar DLL stopped working.
If I just close the message window and wait for a few seconds, the "Share" screen appears as it should.
I shut down, restarted etc. several times . The results were the same.
Is there a fix for this BUG?
Thanks, awbarnett

Re: VS-X9, BurnSTAR DLL, msg Stopped Working
Hi
I have just searched my pc for burnstar.dll and found a file here
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X9
844Kb version 19.2.0.4
I have CVSX9 installed without SP3, only SP2
There were a few posts relating to this, one user thought QuickTime was involved?
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... LL#p289942
and
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... LL#p309052
Not sure that anyone found the actual cause of this issue
You could try resetting the program
http://lata.me.uk/corel/reset/reset.htm
Obviously choose 19.0 folder..

Re: VS-X9, BurnSTAR DLL, msg Stopped Working
Today I experienced my first ever problem with BurnStarR DLL, not with VSX9 or VSX8 but when launching Corel FastFlick VSX8, now, the error occurs when launched as a standalone program or from within VSX8, but if you just close the error message, rather then close the program, FastFlick opens correctly.
It states the faulting module name as QtBridge32.exe, which is part of a product known as UleadBurn. Now by Corel. This program is a writing software that enables users to create audio DVDs, CDs and data discs, so what on earth has that got to do with FastFlick
