The SP3 update now crashes when every time I drag files into VS from Windows Explorer. It does not crash if I Right-Click and select "Insert Video", however this severely limits my usual workflow, as I need to review many video files before adding them, finding them again in the open dialog is unacceptably slow.
The file type doesn't appear to matter.

Re: Uninstall VideoStudio X9 SP3? (Update made it unusable)
This has already been discussed in some detail in recent days, and Corel is looking for a solution: http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 26#p327526 The only work-around at the moment is the one you are already aware of and don't like, I'm afraid. That being said, quite a few of us use that as our normal way of getting files into VS. With each new project, for instance, I create a new library window in VS and import all relevant clips into it. I can then review the clips there and then drag the ones I want into the timeline and in the order I want.
I'm going to lock this thread so discussion can continue in just that one thread.
