I've gotten VideoStudio X9 to work before... I'm pretty sure I did, anyway. Just applied the latest patch, but it still won't render my video. The project is dirt simple: I have an .MOV file from my dashcam (Vantrue N1) that I want to upload to YouTube. The edited length is 44 seconds, that's all I did, just snipped the end off, nothing else. I saved the project, clicked Share, used project settings (MPEG 4, 1920x1080, 30p, 8mbps) and clicked Start.
There's a blink, and nothing else. The file location shows a temporary file of 0 bytes. No progress is shown. Nothing is rendered. What am I doing wrong?
Nothing happens on render

Hi boxcab
Mov files require QuickTime installed, do you have Quicktime?

Hi
I have tried a few times and have no problems rendering video files.
Once complete a thumbnail is placed in the library, do you get that thumbnail?
Please right click a clip and choose properties, what are they?
Can you upload an original sample mov to maybe One Drive , Google Drive etc. so we can test your video files on our pc.

Re: Nothing happens on render
I was able to render it to .MOV format. For some reason I can't go from .MOV source to MPEG-4 output, though I can if the source is DV.
