I have a simple video that I made and at the end of the video, I have a still image. I put a small outro title at the end, on the title track. Easy enough, right? Then when I wanted to add a fade transition between the end of the video and the still image, it gave me an error message saying this "The duration of the inserted effect clip is too long. It will be trimmed to fit." Now I have the preferences set to 4 seconds for transitions. Really??? 4 seconds is too long of a transition??? So VS trimmed the transition to .3 of a second. Really? a third of a second which is totally useless.
When I was using VS6, I had problems with it, but not even one tenth of the problems I'm having with X9. It's X9 ultimate pro.
I would insert an image here in the forum but that's not a simple task either. I can't figure it out. So if you can help me out with that too, I would appreciate it.
Please help if you can.
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Videostudio Ult. X9 not able to add a transition.
What is the duration of the "outro"? If your transition is 4 seconds then the outro has to be 2 secs or longer. Is that what you have?
