Problem making videos wide screen in Video studio 9

Hi,

Im new to the whole video editing scene. Trying to get my videos as wide screen. The project is set to 16:9 but i only get the menus in this format.
It was really simple in pinnacle studio. If i need to convert my videos how do i do this. I have also finished making my project and dont want to start again!

Any help would be great!

That would come in handy but its not what i am looking for. My videos arent even full screen and it says that they are Mpeg 2 and 4:3. I want them full screen but in 16:9 wide screen. How would i do this.

Btw i have used the search feature but didnt find anything. Also i have read the manual and searched the help. The only thing it says is to make sure that the project is set to wide screen. I have even output the dvd using Pal 16:9 dvd

Did you tape them in 16:9?

i captured it using the software that came with the camera and then imported them into video studio 9. In pinnacle you only have to set the project to wide screen and it automatically sets all the videos.

When i view my videos they are centered in the middle of the screen with a black border going all the way around.
