It is not clear what your problem is. There are "text 1", a spin of a coin and "text 2" I cannot see any fades. Plus everything is on overlay tracks.
IMO you need to clean up your layout, try two overlay tracks and a title track. Insert the transitions from the Transition Library and lengthen the spinning coin clip.

Plus give us more than 20 minutes to answer. Some of us have better things to do than keep a continuous watch on Forums.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

Hi

Your transitions are set to 1 second, that is pretty quick and not that noticeable. Change the default duration of the Transition effect to say 4 seconds.
Settings - Preferences (F6) – Edit tab

For existing projects transitions, select the transition and adjust duration using the digital clock.

You have also used two transitions (crossfades) when one may be better?

Have you managed to install Video Studio, if no, give us more information?

Hi

I do not know why you cannot install video studio, did you try installing X8 and x9.
You may have been better using Windows Programs and Features to uninstall.
After using Revo the process then removes other leftover files, you did not by mistake remove the setup files, just a thought.

If you cannot install either version I would try System Restore to before Revo uninstall, Revo should have create a restore point.

Hi

I do not use Windows 10 so cannot say if X8 is fully functional, I am sure other Windows 10 users have X8 installed.

I found this info on the Corel site, interestingly does not list CVSX8

Hi

Please save the project as a VSP file, Zip the VSP file and attach to your post

As you appear to be using the library sample clips we will be able to see exactly what effects you have applied.

The transitions used on the last YouTube were less than 1 second, so dragging the curser is done slowly not in real time as when playing the project.

How long in seconds do you want the crossfade ?

Hi

I have viewed your video a few times but cannot see the problem you are having, maybe I am missing something.
Clearly dragging the curser is done in a different time as to playing the project.
That is why I suggested you provide the VSP project file then we can see exactly what you are doing.
If X8 worked ok do you have the Project Files from X8, they will open in X9 so you can compare timings.
I also commented on the duration of the transition, do you want that crossfade shorter than 1 second? Less than one second is not gonna be recognisable as a fade when played in real time.

Windows 10, as I said I do not use that so cannot really comment on X8, but would assume it should work? Others on the forum could confirm this.
I do not think the problems you are having are related to Windows 10

11suppakit,

like Trevor I am having a very difficult time following what you are doing in that project. It is certainly a very confusing setup and trying to understand what you are doing in that video is almost impossible.

Why don't you do what Trevor asked and attach that vsp project file so that we can try to understand it.
